Family company British Millerain have been producing fabrics in Lancashire, the heart of the UK textile industry, since 1894. They’re the original manufacturer and one of the world’s leading specialist in waxed cotton fabrics. Their range of textiles has been developed through more than a century of innovation, using skills handed down through six generations. For tis season, Dr. Martens used a Millerain heritage cloth called Lickwax — a rugged canvas with a subtle waxed finish and a traditional khaki and olive camouflage print that gives the classic DM’s 1460 and 1461 a military twist. A rebellious union of proper menswear and counterculture attitude, this collection has all the DNA that makes DM’s; including grooved sides, Goodyear-welted construction and iconic air-cushioned sole. Finished with a gold embossed sock and woven Millerain branded patch to the inside.
